About the Journal

Journal of Region, Economy and Society is a double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal of the Gyula Kautz Faculty of Economics at Széchenyi István University, founded in 2012 and published continuously since 2013. Its aim is to analyse spatial, economic, and social processes with a multidisciplinary approach, highlighting their interdependencies and interconnections. From 2025, the journal will be published twice a year, in June and December, in Hungarian and English. The journal will follow a continuous publication schedule.
