Copyright and Licensing
For all articles published in Tér-Gazdaság-Ember / Journal of Region, Economy and Society (ISSN 3058-1079 (Online)), copyright is retained by the authors. Articles are published under an open-access Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license. This means that anyone is free to download and read the articles for non-commercial purposes without modification. Articles may be reused and cited, provided the source is appropriately acknowledged. The purpose of this license is to support the broad dissemination of academic research while ensuring that authors receive appropriate credit.
Reuse of Material from Other Publications
If authors wish to use any material (such as figures, tables, diagrams, photographs, etc.) for which they do not hold the copyright, written permission must be obtained from the copyright holder. It is the authors' responsibility to check the original source and identify the copyright owner. Permission is also required for reusing the authors' own previously published material if the copyright was not retained at the time of the earlier publication.
Permission is not required for the reuse of tables, charts, diagrams, or other similar materials that the authors have previously published, as long as the original source is properly cited. The same applies to materials created by other authors, provided they are not directly copied but are appropriately recreated by the current authors.
Obtaining Permissions
As obtaining copyright permissions may require time, authors are advised to initiate requests as early as possible. Copyright holders may provide specific instructions on how to acknowledge the use of copyrighted materials. In the absence of such guidance, a general acknowledgment may be deemed acceptable.
